The UTEC comes pre-tuned on 2 different maps. The first map is SUPER conservative. The second map has a little more timing in it. The car can be driven safely on the pre-tune, but as far as getting the numbers our cars have reached, you'll have to go farther than the pre-tune.

It's not made for the HR motor unfortunately.

How much you think they deviated from that (STS) original statement? Think they're gonna go a lil lower since we all consider this a ST that should budget below the other ST's? Atleast that's where I thought everyone's stance on it was. What price are the other ST kits at? I have no clue what current pricing is nowadays.

I bet it's gonna be around $5900 (atleast I hope).

It will be an indication of when we can order it. I could have pre-ordered it 3 months ago at 6000.

I wish I could tell you how much, but for some reason we are still in the dark about the pricing on this kit. Needless to say, we're getting a little aggrvated not knowing about it.

The kit is going to be more than the aps and turbonetics more than likely, but it comes with parts that those kits do not...such as: the UTEC, spark plugs, and fuel pump.

Mine didn't come with a spark plug Also it has bigger injector and you can't argue about TIAL!

Ahsmo, where did you order the kit from. Cause even Rick, the owner of STS, doesn't know who would have sold you one. He has no turbo kits ready. I know this because I JUST got off the phone with him.

Rick has assured us that he will have a price for us today.

Haha both of our kits came with spark plugs. And no, you can't argue about Tial AND 440cc injectors!

I just pre-ordered it. I didn't pay a final price on it. I put alittle bit of money down. I called STS directly and talked to sales

The APS st kit comes with the unichip piggy-back and a walbro 255 fuel pump. you are right, it doesnt come with spark plugs. and before you make the argument that the utec is better than than the unichip, i will agree on that......but for under 400whp the unichip is more than adequate.
