Preliminary pricing is between $6400.00 and $6900.00. That ball park is directly from Rick Squires, owner of Squires Turbo Systems A.K.A STS.

What TT are you going to get for that price that is complete as the STS kit? That's precisely the reason why STS can command that kind of price. That is a TURN KEY price. For 6400-6900 you can have your Z making 350 to the wheels without ANY hidden costs besides the actual install cost.

^ fair enough...what's the install price for the Greddy Twins? $2200.00 and up depending on the shop?? That's also with an un-tuned UTEC, add $600.00 for tuning as well. $900.00 installed for the STS with a pre-tuned UTEC. I'm not trying to compare the STS kit to Greddy Twins, as everyone knows, they are two COMPLETELY different kits...the STS system is just another Forced Induction option.

I have Greddy Twins on my personal car by the way.

We'll happily install TT's as well...hell, it's more money for us.

That's again, all based on the shop. Who said other shops will do $900 installed? And besides, pre-tuned is crap isn't it? Who actually uses a pre-tune? Especially with the STS being so heavily mod-dependant with the exhaust pre-turbo.

I also don't agree with this pricing... I'd rather go TT for a LITTLE BIT more (very little in the grand scheme of things).

Well I guess we'll just see how this works out for STS and whether or not they'll change their mind based on sales. The parts list totals in the sub-4k range and that's with being very lenient on prices that you can buy yourself, let alone what they'd get as a vendor.

well, ...one can only hope that everyone charges 900 for a install and tune. Its a great kit that STS has, ...but yea judging from the competetion. Its really a descion of install price . because if your going for expandability ...its gonna be hard to pass up the Greddy TT. But i love you guys concept, and the kit does look badass...but competetion is serious.

But for what was said before if this kit as around the 5k range..im sure you can see the volume of customers see your kit as more viable then selling it for TT setup price. goodluck either way, you had me tripping for that 5k installed wish price...LOL that wouldve been insane.

Well this is our thread haha so I posted OUR install price. We could care less about other shops install prices unless they are cheaper than ours.

I agree with you in someways about it being a LITTLE MORE for Twins, but some people don't have that LITTLE MORE. Like I mentioned, this is just another option. It has qualities that other turbo kits don't have, but then again it does lack in other departments. In the end it's all about the customer.

The pre-tune on our two test cars was actually pretty damn good.

Alright to clarify a few things up my car is the 6 speed. This kit is awesome. My car isnt running lean the highest it sees is 11.8 and the rest is 11.6-11.7 That dyno chart on the video isnt very high resolution and it appears its running 12s when really thats the line to tell you where the 12.0 mark is. The tune that it came with is very spot on and doesnt require much tuning at all.

STS has different stages with bigger turbos which I am planning a built short block and running the bigger turbo to make some more power than the 60 trim it comes with. You can say that the TT kit is around the same ball park but as for install of the STS compared to the TT kit its going to be a helluva lot cheaper and easier due to the way its all put togather.

This kit has a very unique sound and is probably one of the best sounding turbo kits on the market. The car sounds like a jet and the wastegate is really loud. If it came down to it I would choose the road I did rather than going twins because its so unique and the look on everyones face when you tell them you have a rear mount turbo and the look of confusion

IMPO the 6400-6900 is a good ball park price for a completely installed and tuned kit.....otherwise its too expensive

Who really cares about all that stuff.....FI is pretty unique as it is on the Z regardless of what kit it is.

I agree on the sound and the look when they find out were the turbo is. This kit is just an alternative and a unique one if I might add. If you get a TN tuner kit and buy all the extra stuff comparable to the STS kit then you'll pretty much spending almost the same. STS is not a cheap solution but an alternative to the current selection.

Here's the price of the Full TN kit ($5720) and this is with a smaller injector and a reflash http://turbo-kits.com/g35_turbo_kits.html. I think fare price will be not more than $6500 IMHO. But hey, I'm just a tester that got it cheap

Edit:
My bad I quoted the G35 TN kit 350z is around $5300.

i was just hoping for the rhwp that it would steal the thunder from similar priced kits ya know. Cause this kit has the potential of being that type of app.

The best bang for the buck is big advertising in teh Z community.
