not really sure car just killed and would still turn over but sounded horrible so i pulled the motor and oil pan thats what i found

the motor was already blown once with a bent rod and had been rebuilt with eagle rods and wiseco pistons

They're often rendered unusable when a motor blows. I'm not sure of the usual extremity of the damage. How long did you run the built motor before this happened?

Seems like your previous engine blow did a number on that crank.. Then 14psi put a finishing touch...

i wonder if the crank was damaged in the previuos blown motor? or maybe the machine shop didn't properly balance the rotating assembly and it caused some odd harmonics that caused the crank to fracture........

speaking of harmonics, what kind of crank pulley do you have?

Doggonit, I guess my original guess was way off. I thought that was a new custom oil flow modification...

hey jason, as i told you on the phone, i have never seen one of these cranks break like that. we even had one that we banged on the curb, threw off the building, and banged on the street trying to break it, it wouldnt even begin to break.

i would definitely contact the place you got it built, i forget, did they reuse any of your stuff or did they use all stuff that they had....

thanks man, talk to you in a bit

I broke my crank in half two months ago. The main crank pulley broke completely off while running hard and sent everything spinning everywhere inside my built motor.
