Default Thanks Todd@BuildZMotors!

I finally got to hear the sweet sound of a VQ starting up after 6 months of having my car down. I took my sweet time on my build. The car started on the first crank and the new built motor from BuiltZMotors is as smooth as butter. I want to thank Todd for always answering his phone to help me with the few issues I had putting the car back together. Now I just need to figure out why my clutch system won't bleed and I'll have the car on the road.

Pics, vids, and timeslips to come!

I have 21k miles on my engine that todd built. Its still running great. Are you trying to bleed the clutch yourself or is someone pumping the pedal and holding it down while you open the bleeder valve?

This sounds much too eerily similar. My Todd-Motor is ready to be started, but it won't crank. I'm not actually at it right now and I forgot to ask whether or not it's clicking (relay) or if it's tryin to turn but won't actually start... I'll see what's up.

Btw, haven't driven it in 7 months and 4 days now.

Pretty basic. Eagle rods, aires ED pistons @ 9:1. 1/2 in. ARP head studs, stock heads, stock cams. Going to try to hit 600whp on pump gas without cams.

Actually had three people working on it at once. One pumping the pedal per the FSM...on cracking the bleeder and one monitoring fluid level. Still nearly no movement of the slave plunger when the pedal is depressed.

I was wondering about that myself....good luck bro...right behind ya. SGP is building my motor...all the bells and whistles (i.e. sleeved, fully built long block....cams n all).

Congrats. I feel you on the hiatus thing... My car is currently sitting "heartless" in my garage. Engine should be back from the machine shop in about a week

Oh I sure do. So this happened just before Christmas for you??? Mine was the night before Thanksgiving. Also, I just got word that it was a wiring issue from the harness to the starter, and I'll be picking her up tomorrow

I'll post here to add to the joy on my BuiltZMotor hearing it for the first time
