I don't know how many times i skipped that youtube link of yugo thinking it was a waste of time. I just checked it out. I know most of you think it's trash, and well it is in stock form, I freakin really like it.

pretty nice power there. if i had the cash and patience i'd possibly get mine past 467whp, and the answer to traction is boost by gear, but still. without an LSD you FIGHT the car to keep it straight when you floor it at 470whp on the street. anyways, i'm looking into parting my rsx out and maybe getting a Z and boosting it too (why i'm browsing the forums here :P)

i hope not. just got to find the 350 i want blue touring+ for the right price and then learn what kits (or custom) to go with. tired of WWD (wrong wheel drive) and i think the 350z is sexier, while i love the rsx looks, its just dated now.

When I had my RSX the very first mod was a Quaife ATB. Even a stock RSX can't get traction. Yokohama ES100 225/50/16s helped a lot too. Great tires, wish they made them big enough for the Z. Also you need motor mount inserts and a torque dampner. After that great traction, zero wheel hop.

i'm running full enjo race mounts in the rsx (its not that bad really) with fuzion zri tires (great straight line grip with a nice soft sidwall) and hook up 9psi in 1st n 12psi in 2nd with 15psi in the rest on the street

what can be done to the 350 motor stock block? any amounts of boost or none at all? just crious how much itd cost me to get into say 400whp range or run low 12s

400 whp on a TT or ST setup is attainable on a stock block.. when you get close to 480 - 500 whp .. then you are pushing the limits of the stock block.

here is a link with 1/4 mile times orgainzed by setups

https://my350z.com/forum/drag/233840-top-25-1-4-mile-times-for-tt-st-supercharger-nitrous-bolt-ons-stock.html

you can safely assume that if it doesn't have built next to it.. its running less than 450 whp

cost wise.. anywhere from $8k - $12k kit with supporting mods like gauges, fuel, clutch, flywheel, tuning, EMU to do it right

Guys have put more than 560 wheel on C16 on stock engines, more than 500 wheel on 93 octane. These are DD numbers too which are typically a bit lower than dynojet numbers. Guys have run as low as 11.0 @ 125 on race gas and 11.5 @ 121 on 93.

Now if you got one of those 560whp cars to the track with a really good driver it would go much faster, but the guys putting down huge dyno numbers are often different people than the ones running great track times. I know one of the guys who ran 11.5 @ 121 on 93 octane did it on only 9psi and 430whp.

every car has its own potential and weakness.

True automotive enthusiast would appreciate any cars that's done tastefully, FWD, RWD, AWD, imports or domestic. I have full respects to the owner and people who mod those cars.

Those that liking one type and bash others are just ignorant dumbtards.

Just my $0.02

but in this forum, if it's a honda/subaru/mitsu with better performance we use the , "its honda no matter what" attitude. If it's a more expensive car with better performance ( BMWs, or any german car for that matter ) we laugh at them for paying so much to get the same level for performance as we did.

I went through a faze when I liked the RSX-S a lot. . . .I I still think their sick little cars . . .won't ever doubt their capabilities . . ever.

The thing is though. . .when you get a little older. . . .you want to move on to bigger and better thangs. Hell you don't even necessarily have to be older.

Ask yourself this question. . . . ..If you were presented 2 cars, free of charge and could only pick ONE. . .which would you choose ?? A) A 650hp Nissan 350Z or B) A 650hp RSX-S ????
