my car smokes 3rd at 95 degrees out and the tires hot... my tq is just so high at 4500rpm... i think this is the problem... i have learned how to feather the throttle to keep it from being so bad, but i'd *like* to be able to go WOT in 3rd and have it hook up...

wanna swap your 3.3 for my 3.5 since it's not helping you much? *haha*

I never said you did, I was just making that statement in general that I believe we all feel that way.

Fix your camber, I can lay down 570ft/lbs @ 4500rpm's with no issues in the heat on balding KDW2's (285's) You need a good alignment-get the SPC camber arm/toe bolt set if you dont have it.

i've got the Stillen toe AND camber arms... both are maxed out...well, to the point where they are as even as they can be... they actually fight one another when trying to adjust them... i guess i really need to raise my car about a half inch...

Yes, I am happy with my lancer on steroids....This thread is a waste of space. Is this a 350z forum?

Lol anything can be fast if you throw money into it. And people will still probably make jokes about the rsx.

I was in your situation with camber/traction arms. Add a set of eccentric bolts and your good to go without raising it.

I'm not really impressed by a 650whp RSX. Any car can make big power with enough money.

+1 My thoughts exactly, but with one big question mark. If you are going to spend that much money..then why on a RSX??????????? I don't get it.

That is a mean, mean RSX.

For the record I've never driven my turbo max on a good street tire like a high performance summer tire - I've driven it on some really worn out dry rotted street all season street tires but that's it (actually I've driven it on snow tires too - lol that was a joke... I was still spinning at the 1000' mark). I'm going to try it this summer though at some point probably just for curiousity's sake.

I imagine a 300whp maxima would be fine in 2nd gear on a good street tire, 1st gear would require pedalling.

BTW doug - the fastest stock 4th gen is 14.51 with a completely full tank of gas (spare tire and jack removed however, 3102lbs with me in it that day)
