OMG! THE VORTECH IS GONE !!! very well damaged !
that sucks I guess they cant all be perfect. But please refrain from posting your experience before the issue is totally solved, too many people lately flip out about little stuff and post it on here which in turn does major damage to the company.
Good luck though but im sure you'll be taken care of.

If they do, for sure, every boddy here will know the great service that I had with them... and how happy I am...
But, if they don't, every time someone will ask opinion or feedback about Vortech products... for sure I will jump in it... and send some pics...
I still beleive that they have a very good product, reliable at a very good price...probably, my opinion, the best quality/price ratio on the marquet...
and even with this bad luck, I can wait to get it fixed and hit the gas again and kick some ***...

Wow sorry to see that man!
I had a similiar issue with a kit here, which coincidently made a whooping 290 (Mustang) RWHP on the 2.87 pulley. The original install shop (not us obviously) had literally twisted the oil return line around three times putting the blower in which completely choked off its oil return.

The original install shop (not us obviously) had literally twisted the oil return line around three times putting the blower in which completely choked off its oil return.I first take a look on the return and the feeding oil lines... and everything was all fine...
First, I disconnect the oil return line from the oil pan... to see if we have some oil that is coming out of the Vortech... and YES... a very good flow... and I took some pics of this... I felt better after this part...
after that, I removed the Vortech
and even if I knew that the feeding oil line was ok because of the good oil flow at the return oil line, I started the car again and... as I knew, Yes I had a very good oil flow at the feeding oil line...
so now, as I know that it is not a lubrification problem, I can't wait to have some news from Injected Performance OR Vortech... To send it to them ASAP ! to solve this...
Just to add my recent experience (oil leaking from the input shaft) after 12k miles on the blower...Blower is in transit to Vortech and we will see if and how the warranty works...The warranty certificate say's it good for 3 years with limitations that are referenced per the enclosed sheets, however the enclosed sheets has no mention of 3 years..Truly hoping not to have the problems other posters have experienced with Vortech service or lack thereof..

Havent read all the posts in this thread but make sure to call Vortech and get an RA# to expedite the repair. They have an amazing warrenty on their blowers and if you overnight the blower you should get it back in 10 days. Goodluck
