why not our engines? If the thermocouple is placed under the spark plug, it should have a direct path for heat conduction without any interruption from the water jacket, right? I was actually thinking of putting one at cylinder 3 since that seems to be where the piston failures have occurred. (I have only one thermocouple wire)
