I agree. I am afraid the price point and more expensive/laborious tuning process might push it beyond the average performance enthusiast.

Not sure if Sam mentioned to you, but we are taking the MOTEC class in NC at the end of Aug. Should be fun.

Can you post the actual chart. It would be nice to see.If it looks anything like the 880 chart,it looks like there is still an incredible amount of potential at higher rpms if you can fix the bottleneck.

Yeah, MoTeC is the cream of the crop... But you pay a heavy price for the quality. IIRC, IP was originally running the GT42R setup on the Magneti Marelli - another premium EMS solution. But I think it was a smart choice to tune this beast with the Haltech. You get a robust stand-alone that's actually been applied on a monster boosted VQ.

I don't want to turn this thread into another EMS debate, and know that everybody loves the F-Con, but I still think it's great to see new things coming to the table with these platforms. Props again to IP for pushing the standard and doing something different...

Amazing.!!! I would reallylike to see what numbers a 3.5L untouched displacement would put out.

I don't see no mod bible stating that MoTeC is a must. There are plenty of other ECU options that are more than acceptable.

Amazing - congrats IP!

What's the scoop with the MoTeC vs. Haltech?

M600 I presume? Both of these don't appear to have vehicle specific wiring harness for the VQ yet...

IP, Gurgen or Sharif, care to elaborate on the Haltech or other prospective EMS for future projects?

Looks like IP is getting ready to release a PnP Haltech in the coming weeks. Should be interesting.
