Well, car is street tuned, all throttle positions, all boost levels, and it took less than a few hours! gonna get on a dyno soon and get all of the timing dialed in and see what power she's putting down. I wish the Haltech was out a few years ago, I realized, this is my 5th engine management, second stand-alone. I had an fcon vpro for about two weeks, the fact that I couldnt access the software to tune myself was my deciding factor to sell it.
Anxiously awaiting the final version of the software, as it sits now, it is still an excellent setup!
I will give a more detailed review soon, after I get a chance to get over to the dyno.
Thanks Hal for all of your help.

I can't wait to get my car back and do a full hands on review myself - very soon - hang in there guys.
Will be happy to hear its running on a AT5 for sure !!!!!!!

Todd, great to hear everything is running smoothly. I was going to give you a call today to check on your progress but I guess that answers it. Give me a shout tomorrow if you have any questions/concerns/etc and I'd love to hear more about your experience.

Well, just got back fom the dyno, had it pretty much dialed in from street tuning, did 5 or 6 pulls, problem is, my turbos aren't holding steady boost, I have 9.9psi when the boost controller is off, and I am running 18psi with the blitz sbc-id controller set at 75, the boost hits, then stumbles, I will be shimming the actuators very soon, to bring the baseline up to around 15psi (boost controller off) so that hitting 18-19psi steady will be no problem.

With that said, my dyno chart power looks funky, the boost drops right after torque peak (crazy looking drop on dyno graph), but still made 579rwhp/ 615tq at 18psi.

I really am excited about the new updates for the Haltech, as I said earlier, it has lots of cool features, very user friendly... and the updates will make it even that much better, it will "stand-alone" as a standalone

please be advised, this is less than an hour on the dyno, decided not to go any further until I get the boost steady.

Wish we had a load dyno here!!!!

Made decent power, this is on a BuiltZMotor:
Arias ED pistons 9:1CR
Pauter rods
unsleeved (block decked .003)
stock heads
jwt valve srings
my old scotts stage II cams
arp 1/2" head studs
hks headgasket (.024")

AAM stage II fuel system
RC 750cc injectors
ATS triple disc carbon clutch
HALTECH ENGINE MANAGEMENT

APS twin turbo
3.5: downpipes
Forge actuators, red springs
true dual 3" custom exhaust

Aquamist meth/water injection
70/30 mix of 91/101 oct fuel

Haltech Platinum has 2 step rev limiter functionality, correct?

Sweet numbers todd, even with the boost problem.

so the haltech is not locked like the HKS and we can self tune it?????

Hal@IP- is the platinum $2200 the price with all the features?

Do you sell units with just the basic features and have additional luxury options locked for a price?

Some features like the 2 step launch control I don't need and wouldn't want to pay for. Know what I mean?

Also, does the Haltech run parallel with the oem ECU?

let me know. thanks! this look very promising

Alberto: Yes, the latest version has an auxilary rev limiter for launching.

Accordfreak: Yes, the unit is NOT locked - people can self tune, though I wouldn't recommend that for everyone. Enlisting the help of a qualified professional is suggested.

$2299 includes everything: unlocked platinum ecu, plug+play harness, usb cable, internal map, on-board data logging, knock, etc.

It is a parallel standalone - in that it has complete control over fuel, ignition, and cam timing. The stock ecu remains in the car to drive things such as the stock gauges like the tach.

So with the Haltech you still got your Rev Limiter, Speed Governor and you can't bump up your idle?
