Default what would I need with the APS Extreme TT kit..

hi there..

I'm going to order an APS Extreme TT kit for my Z33 2k4.
(i have koyo radiator + OS dual plat clutch)

My goal is the max hp with the less $ with this turbo kit !!

So, this will be my list...

- E-Manage Ultimate
- Defi BF series with Control link II
- GREDDY single Ti-c Titanium Exhaust (any advice on other one ?)
- Arias piston 8.5 compression (or ED 9:1) (whish one you advice me?)
- Pauter Rods
- ARP main & head stud L19's
- HKS metal head gasket
- HKS Boost control (EVC)

Please any recommendation or suggestions!??

First of all, what's your HP goal? If you plan to use the extreme kit, you are probably looking to achieve 550whp+ range.. For this WHP range, F con v pro would be a better choice than the EU. Also, you want the single exhaust, but you probably want true dual exhaust system like the Greddy Evo TT or APS 3" dual.

ditch the Defi gauges and get urself a better EMS (ie fcon). Defi gauges are way overpriced, and dont even read right.. lol

Does the extreme kit come with fuel injectors?? if not, you might want to get it.

+1 to that. if your only shooting for 550whp the greddy is fine. however fcon vpro and true dual exhaust are highly suggested..

No need to spend $10K on the APS extreme kit unless you're planning to break HP records, stick with the GReddy twins, they have plenty of headroom to work and grow with.

Forget the Emanage ultimate. If you have an HKS tuner do the HKS FCON Vpro or see if you can get ahold of one of the new Haltech standalones from Injected Performance.

I'd say do the Extreme tuner kit and try to get ahold of one of the CJM stage 3 fuel systems with the twin pump assembly or just do the CJM stage 2 with the single pump until that's available. Grab some 1000cc injectors to go with it.

Uhh, forget the regular Arias pistons. They suck. Go with the Arias ED's or grab some of Performance Factory's JE "untouchables".

You're also going to want to look at the APS 3.5" downpipes.

Also, start pricing out a Carbonetics triple disc carbon clutch. This is the only clutch that's currently readily available to hold down the power you're looking for.

Oh, and since you're in the desert, don't forget cooling.

Start pricing out oil cooler setups, and look at getting the thickest core aftermarket radiator you can. Forged Performance is going to be marketing their aftermarket radiator fan and shroud combo which will be a definite plus too.

Eagletanggreens recommendations

APS extreme TT comes with 3.5 test pipes
APS 3" exhaust
Koyo rad
Oil cooler
1000cc injectors
Fcon Vpro with Knock amp
Fcon navigator / no need for gages as this reads everything
Carbon triple clutch
fuel return system your choice
HKS boost controller EVC

You should wait to see what my 850BB TT puts down its basically along the lines of the APS extreme turbos. If they rock then just get them and buy all the supporting mods (like fuel injectors..ect.). Save the money to fix your car when it breaks with all that power. Becuase it not about if its going to break but when.

Ask Nitrouz. From what I understand it's a bit lacking in the fuel delivery department... That kit will flow for more power than it is capable of from what I understand. Perhaps some owners here can chime in on this.

I'm considering the APS Extreme also. Anyone running the APS Extreme on a built 3.5L engine? If so, any problems with lag?

One would think b/c of the bigger turbos you would likely encounter around 200-300 rpm delay/lag. That's why I was considering stroking the engine? But if it's not necessary I would prefer not to, and just keept it a 3.5L setup. Thanks.

(I really need to make this into a separate thread/poll)
