Been there done that, not worth it. I came out paying more then if I had a new kit. Its safer and cheaper to go new first then have to deal with the problems that a used kit might bring.

I contemplated buy used, but I looked at it from the perspective of FI being a toy! No one buy's a system to baby it, I knew I was gonna be buying some else's problems! I waited for the SC GB!

Buying a used SC kit would be less of a risk because there are far fewer parts

It all depends on who you purchase it from. If you buy from joeblow69 with 1 post and no feedback, chances are you might be getting a kit with 60% of the items missing. That's assuming you didn't scammed altogether.
