Default Injectors, A possible lower cost solution!

I have a set of 430cc JDM Supra MKIV Denso Injectors. They feed at a stock pressure of 40psi which is approx 10psi lower than 350Z, At our stock 3.5Bar of fuel pressure is ~ 520cc of fuel. These JDM injectors come in groups of 6 and can be had for as little as 150 Bucks.

These are high impedance unlike the USDM MKIV 550cc, Not to mention they are top feed. They look identical to stock except they are slightly bigger.

Car Experts you input is needed.

i didnt know the JDM supra uses a top feed. are you sure about that? all the USDM ones are side feed.

150 isnt bad but used 440s on here seem to go for around 200, and you know they are a lot newer. JDM MKIV supra injectors are likely to be very high miles and need cleaning/balancing before use.

MKIII Supras are side feed. MKIV are normal top feed.

MKIV top feed

UDSM - low impedance
JDM - High impedance

Denso clip like our stock ones
Should plug and play with easy

Cleaning and balancing is only $50 through diesal injection for a set of 6.

According to my research the JDM supra 430cc injectors would make a great source of cheap fuel for SC and ST guys.

I am going to have mine cleaned and flow checked then experiment.

Also the Supra 550cc USDM will fit as well and flow ~620cc at our fuel pressure, all you would have to do is wire in a resistor.

DMK I would just check out the supra forums or local shops that do the 2jzgte swap into NA, Titan Motorsports, Intense Motorsports, etc might have some laying around theyd be willing to sell, I had a set laying around from a JDM 2jz into a 240.

Like Phunk has stated, I looked at the UDSM fuel injector and without new rails, and a resistor and major work they will not fit, they are side fed and low impedance.

After experimenting with them, I am sorry to say that although my first thought was they were identical, I have indeed concluded that the JDM although high impedance is a side feed like the USDM supra 550cc.

These will not work for our apps. However for other infor there JDM soarer is a top feed setup. But only produces 350cc.
