If you want mods to compliment the supercharger you might consider:

(1) free flowing exchaust
(2) plenum spacer (5/16")
(3) Underdrive pulleys
(4) diff gear change

BTW have you looked at the Rotrex S/C ?? Very clean install!!

Save money. Turbo it. The supercharger eats up gained power. Beltless turbo ftw.

(3) is not recomended. this is a SC, it is belt driven off the crank pulley. If you underdrive the SC you will get less boost and lower your power.

Well the obvious intake/exhaust - most importantly brakes. No point in going fast if you cant stop safely. Pulley swap as mentioned above. Nismo sticker on the quarter panel.

the stock pulley is recommended with a SC. If you want more boost, change the pulley on the SC, not the cranky pulley on the engine. Once you get the SC, the engine mangement that comes with them is usually bobo, you'll want to upgrade to a UTECH.

i like the looks and gains of the stillen s/c. i mean i tend to think that s/c an NA car is more reliable than turbo. just my .02 , but i fyou wana blow up your engine i recommend going turbo. ( unless you have forged internals and such)

I think I'd first learn to properly drive the Z in stock form. It can be quite pleasing on a track. Sometimes more power will actually make you slower around turns. Now, if you are dead set on FI, then I'd start searching old threads and reading how it all works and what all is needed since it sounds like you are new to the subject. Im tired of reading "I wrecked my Z" threads so learn something from those people; dont just throw a bunch of money at the car and expect to be able to drive it like a pro. You will get hurt.

That said, I'd go w/ the Stillen blower over the Vortec b/c centrifugal s/c's have all the cons and few pros. Stillen is linear and instant torque. As far as supporting mods go; brakes, clutch, exhaust, tires possibly, and an empty road.

I would NEVER change out the crank pulley with something lighter if your putting on a SCer

your post is ignorant and you should do some research before you post again.

1) there are no real gains to a stillen Supercharger.. its maybe 10 to 20 whp over bolt on's

2) i have proved in another thread that Vortech is more reliable than Stillen

3) Turbo's don't blow your motors.. bad tunes and bad installs do.. this isn't 2005 .. Turbo setups are as reliable as SC setups.

4) Built Motors still blow as do Stock Motors.

I love how N/A owners come in here and tell us to get Stillen over everything else because they are more reliable.. and when i challeged SOLO to prove it.. he couldn't.. and i found two blown stillen motors and he couldn't find 1 blown vortech
