Buy a bicycle that you can ride, let her drive your car. When she blows that motor, you can loose her, use saved money for her car to do a complete build on yours.

She didn't ask, I offered, she didn't cry or abuse her natural abilities, lol to get this it was my idea, end of story. I am not given up my DD, this car from day one was a pleasure vehicle, and I enjoyed it a lot.
Why don't you let her use one of your cars until either one of you get enough cash together to fix hers?

With stripper money she will be able to buy a new motor as well as buy you stuff because she will start making big $$. Not only that she will only have to work 2-3 times a week which will make it easier on her to focus on school. Also she might start bringing girls home for both of you to enjoy after a long night of work.

Having dated a couple of strippers back in the day I'd go with option number two.
hahhaa, you share my dating strategies, lol. plus, you will have your nights open to still go play with your friends when she is at work!

seriously craig, i showed this to my girlfriend and i asked her how she felt. i almost got smacked she started to stretch her fingers to give ya a good talking to, lol. i had to stop her. think it over, lots of good points being made in the thread.

Already bought another house to flip, lol. Hence needing to free up some money. I think 23k is a friggin steal since retail on the car is 21k!!!

Sucks real bad. So if anyone has stock parts and would like to buy and trade, I will be offering a huge discount .

Also, I have very much enjoyed the FI forum over the last 2 years or so, and if anyone wants to donate to my cause (paypal craiglangford@yahoo.com), feel free it looks like I am going to need it.

I wish things were different, I actually had to give up a killer engine from Todd @ built Z motors, literally the day that I was going to get a cashier's check for the engine, my girlfriend blew her engine!!!

Anyway
Craig

***Also, if anyone is interested I will sell my car for 23k as it sits. Nothing but a burnt powersteering line needs to be replaced***!!!
Dude!!!! I didn't even read the rest of responses before writing this so forgive me if I soud like an ahole. I don't know your situation or the intensity of your relationship....BUT THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I WOULD GIVE A GIRLFRIEND THE MONEY FOR MY CAR. Wife is aother story but GIRLFRIEND!!!!!????? You BETTER marry that girl!!!

I have tried about every angle that I know how to.
Why not find someone with an S2000 that has a "clean" ECU and do a temporary switch until the dealer agrees to warranty her car.

I sincerely hope that after her car is fixed, she doesn't over rev the engine while pulling away from you...with her other boyfriend in the passenger seat. Its what country western songs are made of.

definatly wouldn't tear apart a monster to replace an S2000 engine. Like mentioned above, take the 3k loan out and replace the engine. It would be better to put a lean against the Z for the loan than to strip it down and sell off for a fraction of the cost. Bad mistake, i would seek other finanical options.

Craig,

Congrats on your decision. Don't let anyone try and tell you what to do. It is your life and your decisions. When the time comes, you will be made aware of how your decision affected you and others around you.

are you willing to part out the turbo? if so, i may be interested.. i'm in the metro-atlanta area (sugarloaf-discover mills area), so it would be easy to meet up sometime for the swap.

I know craig personally and he is one of the best guys i know. He isn't doing this because he is whipped or beat down. He's doing it because he cares about her and is a nice guy.
