I'll be upgrading my injector to a 560cc, mid-pipe and charge pipe in the next couple of weeks. Haven't touch my tune in 2 years so with the bigger injector I'll have re-visit my tuning skills...

What size piping are you going with on the charge pipe, and mid pipe what are going to do with that.

/\ I'm just replacing the rusty portion. I replaced my stock midpipe muffler with a bigger one. I went with the magnaflow 12216 universal muffler. Boy that made a difference in noise reduction. Injector is also in and i just started tuning the lower rpm and low boost. It start raining here in nyc so i'll continue tomorrow....

oh nice i when i got my reroute piping in i hand sanded and coated my charge pipes flat black to help prevent from corrosion. So did that help with boost on the mid pipe upgrade or just quiet down the exhaust noise.

goosgoose had this muffler and I had it for a short time but it crack (install error) so I dont know yet. I"ll start tuning today so I'll find out. It's nice to be able to know I have more fuel left to pump.. Before I had to leverage my Water/Meth to compensate for the lack of fuel... at redline my inj. duty cycle was around 93% and in the winter I had to bring down my boost to 7psi because my injector was maxed out with the colder temp...

NICE ET but 1/4 mile trap is a little low.. the 1/8 mile trap looks good though. Did you let go of the gas in the end or did you have to shift to 5th gear? did you do any any logging with this run? I try to log with my Utec every run I do so I know what RPM I shifted so I can make adjustment on my next run.

have you tried shifting at 6500rpm especially the lower gears.. I usually shift close to redline or redline on 1st and 2nd gear and that makes a difference... Base on my tq curve, I have calculated that shifting at redline in the lower gears help me land closer to my peak TQ on the next gear. I'll try to see if I still have my spreadsheet where it calculate the estimate power you can put in the ground by plugging the value of your TQxRPMxGear ratio.
edit: also 1st gear and 2nd gear rpm goes up so fast and you may think you are shifing at 6300rpm but if you do any logging you'll see that you are actually shifting only at 5900-6000rpm... This is why i shift at redline on the lower gears.

/\ I'm talking about the lower gears here.. there is less load on 1st vs 4th gear. You probably not even hitting full boost on 1st. As I said, the RPM goes so fast on 1st and 2nd and you may think you are shifting at 6300rpm but in reality you are shifting at 6000rpm. anyways I think you did a good ET with your last run while just coasting in the end.
