+1 I'm thinking the kit is good for maybe like 450 with all the bolt ons, cams and possibly heads. I think I'm gonna go ahead and build my motor soon though so hopefully then we'll see what its capable of

I was just doing some reading about the sts kit for corvettes on the corvette forum and it appears that some of those guys changed the AR housing (I'm guessing this is the turbo housing) from like .49 to .36 to get spool up about 500 rpms quicker. Does anyone know if this would work for our kit?

What are the exact specs on the turbo that come with it?

Off-topic as ever, but what the hell...
Awesome avatar, and couldn't be in a better time. I was moving some more crap from my parents' house this weekend and found my old Nintendo. Fired up that thing for the first time since college. Huffed and puffed forever until finally getting the Mario 3 to work.
OK, back to topic...

hhhmm... last time I check I have a 60-1 with .58AR, at least that what I saw from the Turbo. got to check them again
STS states that Rear-Mount Turbo are different from Front-Mount Turbo. Interchanging them will not yield best performance since they are a little differently made. Is this true? I'm thinking of getting the GT35R for faster spooling but don't know if it will work

The kit includes:
-Turbo – TO4E60 O Trim .58 AR housing 520 Crank HP turbo
-Spark Plugs – NGK One stage colder
-Injectors – 440cc
-Intercooler – Front mount air to air
-BOV - Tial 11 # spring below 4000 feet
-Waste Gate – Tial 38mm .4bar spring unless order different
-Tuning – UTEC tuning with MAP-Unless different MAP needed Email Rick
-Oil – STS patented 2 speed oil pump with lines and check valve
-PCV – STS patented PCV crank case boost eliminator with lines
-Wire – STS Multi role wire harness with optional meth pump connection
-Pipes – STS HPC coated inside and out charge pipes with high pressure silicones and clamps
-Bolts – STS 350Z bolt kit
-Fuel- Walbro 255lph fuel pump
those are the specs
Also, I wouldn't necessarily say lag is a huge issue but it is deffinitely there and something that i want to improve on.

I was looking at some of the Dyno on a TN kit and most I see is that they get Full Boost around 4K-4.2K RPM (Maybe I'm wrong). I typically hit full boost around 3900RPM. So I guess we are on par with other ST Kit out there.
TN guys feel free to correct me.

Yeah from what i understand the traditional single's spool up a bit quicker. When you guys are sayin hits full boost does that mean in 4'th gear? because it seems like mine spools much more quickly in 4'th and 5'th...
maybe its just the fact that in those gears the boost is climbing alot faster than the rpms

With the TT STS setup at stock boost (5.5psi), C5ZO6 owners report an average of 500-550 rwhp (conservative tune) and report hitting boost ~3000rpm.
Is there a reason why the STS for the 350Z is only single?

Most of the TT STS kit are for V8. Not sure if there is enough exhaust flow to spool 2 turbo in the back with our little V6... Maybe it can

If not, they'll stop offering it. If they stop offering it, they might offer TT version for ~$7k would be a reasonable price for everything included.

I'd pay about $4K for a kit with the BB upgrade but without the UTEC, Walbro or injectors.

Since this is the "official" thread, I figured I might chime in. Here's some logs of my recent 8 PSI run for documentation of before and after the heat wrapping.
