These guys are amazing (not a teenage high school auto shop newbie bolt-on specialist in the bunch unlike most fast&furious "tuning" shops here in socal)...one of the main engineers built motors for McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 while at Ilmor Engineering. Then he moved on to TRD to design/build motors for Toyota's championship CART efforts. The older gentleman i spoke with had an exuberance talking about motors, engineering, fuel, racing experience, etc. that made me want to hang out there the whole time my car is in just to soak up his knowledge. When i left the older guy asked, "you will be stopping by often won't you?" meaning he wanted me to check firsthand their progress to make me feel comfortable but i think also to display their expertise.
I am completely comfortable that DreamWorkes Racing will be offering a topnotch street-legal blower kit. After CARB certification, i'm going to have to convince these guys to hook me up with pulleys and turn the boost up a notch.

I wonder if this will really work out.. Judging from past performance of "loan me your car for a week and i'll develop an FI kit for it" occurences I expect it'll probably be 1-2 months over what they promise and the final result will be worse than anticipated, along with increased problems and major abuse of the car... I hope not ..Good luck Jimster..

There has been some resistance to the posted motivations of DreamWorkesRacing on this board but after meeting with the development team let me assure your that they mean business and anyone looking for a complete street legal supercharger kit should keep a lookout for the DreamWorkes Racing kit.
Previous posts mentioned an unnamed big name partner and they weren't kidding. The partner shall remain unnamed until they see fit but this company is no weekend garage operation.
The kit will be intercooled with mild boost and it won't stick out of the hood like some blowers requiring a new hood or a hole. They are digitally modeling the engine bay to maximize install efficiency.
Thanks again DreamWorkesRacing.

On a separate but related note, Bullet Fabrication in Gardena will at some point also be doing a NHRA (Chromoly 4130 milspec) or SCCA (milder steel) 8 or 10 pt roll cage for my use and as a production tester as well as design/test of headers for my car. They also did the Bergenholtz mazda dragster though their bread-and-butter is NHRA spec musclecars and dragsters.
So some of you may disagree with submitting your own cars but i do this for me with a no holds barred attitude...not to be pretty on sunday with 100 other identical cars comparing which wax is shinier.
And in the unlikely event that my motor blows, i've been in the industry long enough with enough connections to use my car as a platform for further testing and enhancement in a buildup should it come to that.
So thanks for everyone's concern but in the aftermarket, some people have to be willing to sacrifice their time and cars. And these are the same people who have blown motors but come back every time for the sake of being 0.05 seconds quicker at the next track event.
