I never had a Stillen SC. I do have a Stillen exhaust.

But it doesn't matter. We're on the same page now.

I love the hissing sound. Most the people on the road have no idea what's going on under the hood and look scared by the sound.

With the BOV that Vortech uses . It will whistle in a certain blower rpm range . After I put on te T-trim , the whistle went totally went away . But with this all cog pulley set up , I put on a bigger pulley . Slowing the blower down at idle and cruise and it [ the whistle ] has come back again . You can hear it at idle or at a 65mph cruise . It all depends on how much air is passing by the Bypass BOV at the time .

Don't get me wrong, I do love it...at certain times. After only a week though, I know I'll get tired of it quickly, especially at certain times.I'm gonna throw on that filter and see how it goes.

you can stuff the filter with some non-dense foam . Something that allows air to go thru it easily . That will help also

I use a baby bottle brush inside the filter.

You're the guy I meant to address a previous post to, not Gilley. Wrong red G...haha.

I haven't been able to fully push the Vortech yet, but even boosting up to around 5-6psi so far, it seems to be a little quicker...

Damn you forgot about me that fast, well my greddy twins would destroy my stage 4 in any type of race.Since i am an auto there is no such thing as turbo lag its just not there. Now with the stillen stage 4 against the stock vortech,it will probably just beat you in the 1/4 or be real close. But once you change pulley.s its by by stillen.Hope you like the new found and upgradable power.......i sure do.

I'm already running an upgraded setup with the 3.12 pulley, RC 440's, Walbro 255, and UTEC. Should already be quite a bit faster... I'll probably go 2.87 & 550's in the near future...

I think the 3.12 is around 9psi. I've pretty much been hitting 8.5-9.5 according to the peak hold on my boost gauge. Not really sure about the 2.87.

I threw that filter on the bypass valve last week...didn't do much. Quieted it down some, but almost negligible. Still loud as all hell when you get off the throttle and coast!

I hit just over 10psi with the 2.87 pulley.
