Hey guys i got a question..........how many of you are running the stock tranny that are making over 500whp?.....if you are, are you having any problems, have you done any kind of upgrades to make it stronger?.if you are not, is there any other trans that you are using, and what all do you need to bolt it up and the cost?.......i'm alittle worried about mines after i get it tuned

most people are running stock transmission, unless you count clutch or flywheel upgrades.

Manual and automatics are specified in max foot pounds and input shaft rpm since HP is an rpm dependent meaningless in this case.

I think what he meant was the rating spec for the transmission... the rated power for the auto trans is 100,000 shifts @ 330 ft-lbs torque as felt at the engine's output... or so I'm told.

You may think "100,000 shifts? That's nothing!" ...keep in mind that when stock your tranny probably shifts at 100-150 ft-lbs torque on average since you're not racking up 100% track miles on your odo.

As for the 6MT... I have no clue? OP didn't really specify? I'm assuming manual?
