One to two visits to the dragway should be enough to make it non-functional anymore.

I say what really kills a clutch fast is launching.

well, i can tell you/. Froma stock motor 2.62 and a stock clutch... I tried one time today to launch it hard and smoked it... LOL..

It has alot of passes on it though n/a, then with the 3.12 pulley and i granny shifted and launched it like i was leaving a redlight and it held that one.

i had A LOT of nitrous launches on the stock clutch, it help up like a champ. the early 03 clutches are the best!!

you should be alright with that stock clutch and the vortech cause it doesnt produce a lot of instant tq. the low end tq is where the clutches are usually slipping..

Early '03 clutch here, too!

Its held too many nitrous runs at the tarck to count. I'm in the process of installing a Turbonetics ST to go w/ the nitrous and I have no plans of changing the clutch as of right now.

I've run 11's with it... Which is kinda good, I guess!

Early 03 here, lasted for 2+ years at 370-400whp. I had no issues up until I got a good deal on a JWT combo and swapped it out.

We compared it with the clutch off an 05 and the later clutches are visibly weaker with a much smaller friction plate...
