I didnt see any 17" skinnies anywhere online, Im sure for the right $$$ anything is possible. Thanks for the idea Luie...

you could also look for a solid rear? with your power, it would help with the axle breaking problems?

Not even an option. There is a misconception that Im a "drag racer", while I like doing it, I love taking my Z through some twisties as well. Id never compromise handling/well rounded car for drag racing. My car can accelerate, turn and stop with the best of them, I wouldnt change that for a 1/4 time.

There is a set of Weld wheels that the supra guys run in 17"x4 up fronts, however a set of 4 wheels will set you back over $1500 for wheels only..

No offense to Julian but Im not out to beat him, Im out on the track for me, and my personal goals-if my car is set up properly seeing him in the rearview will only be a bonus

This will be a challenge, it may take 5 runs to reach my goal, it may take 100, but I'll get there. Once I do, I'll pretty much hang up drag racing. I am brutal on my car when racing (the way it should be!) and I usually break parts when I go, so its a lot of $$$ just to brag about a time.
