SAM would you say it's at least equivalent to or better than a Gates which has been touted on this site as the belt to use with Vortech S/C'er..

Thanks

The belt does slightly rub the little cam cover though, but not by much.

Great Job Moog!! Looks Great!!

You might be able to shave a tad off of the cam cover to eliminate that rubbing, I would watch that closely so you dont prematurley shred belts.

How was putting the belt on? Mine was pretty tough to get on, I have only tightened my belt once since install and she is still holding strong!

Great job!

Does your belt make contact w/ the cam cover at all Triji/imalazeeass/G35asian?

No mine does not at all, that is why mine is closer to the jackshaft pulley, to get it to angle above the cam cover. I spent about 20 mins measuring / guaging placement so it would not rub there.

wierd...even w/o the GTM pulley, my other belt rubbed the very top portion of the cam cover...now it's about an inch down.

Yup, look at the angle of your belt -vs- the angle of mine with the pulley a bit closer to the jackshaft pulley. This is with the 3.12 pulley. When I put the 2.87 on there will be a tad more space in there.

It works, I used a 10mm x 1.25 tapper and the bolt threaded right in.

Just take your time lining it up to try and get clearance w/ the timing chain cover.
