You got a pep boys near you? that is where I got mine. Any auto store should have them... Use a 10mm... otherwise the tapper will not thread properly and your bolt will not fit right.

What belt # are you using for the 2.87? I installed the pulley and now its slipping alot. I had minimal slippage before when it was really cold at night and now Im barely seeing 5lbs. I have it tightened all the way too.

barzten1, i used a 93" gates belt from napa i believe. its shorter than the belt they recommend, we had a nasty time getting it on. i saw 14psi at round 7000rpm, rofl. thats when we realized my rev limiter was set to 7200rpm. took it back down to 6800 just to be safe. now i see 12 to 12.5 psi at 6600rpm.

Crap. I just got done taking the blower off. I was taking it for a test run last night after installing the pulley and noticed my A/F guage wasnt reading or barely seeing 17. It would read when I gave it gas. The response was nice and crisp and I was going to jump on the highway and give it some love. I did already have an idea that there was a bad bearing in the blower because a week ago I started getting the rocks in the blower sound. Before I got on the highway I went to wot and hit 10psi which I usually wont see unless it 30 degrees out. Well I jump on the highway and for the first time ever I find myself next to a new Viper.......and he's calling. We get on it from about a 45 and Im right there with him for about 2 gears and then it felt like my belt was slipping. We back off and go again but this time it felt like my belt was slipping the whole way. Also I noticed a little oil spray on my windshield (I have a vented Seibon). I get home and my car is dripping oil like it got punched in the face. Car wont boost over 5lbs and it sounds like I have a bypass valve where the blower is. I pulled the blower and am going to send it for repair. Also gunna go to the bank tomarrow for a loan and probably build and go TT. I feel like Im letting my Vortech brothers down but this was something I planned after paying the car off which I just did. I was going to look into a T Trim but since Im putting in a new motor the TT install should be cake. Booger Ill go measure that pulley now. Also started a thread about running the car NA and had some questions about what to do with the vacuum line from the plenum to the bypass valve. Id love your help because I got the idea from you about running it without the blower. Also should I lower or raise my fuel pressure since Im going to be running rich as hell?

Barzten,
If your going to go TT in the future, I'd be interested in the 2.87 pulley and I'm local so let me know if you ever what to sell it. Thanks.

I have all 3 pulleys 6 filters including a K&N long filter thats never been used and several belts. After I sell the kit Ill sell the accessories. If you haven't upgraded to the K&N long filter its a very nice difference. You'll definately be happy with it. If you havent heard about it do a search. I've been at it all day and need some down time but Ill try to find the thread on it later and bump this thread with the link.

Barz,
Can't run the long filter, I have a G and I'm not going to cut a hole in the support so I'm going to stick with the short cone. I'm pretty sure we've never met, I don't recall seeing a Z with a Seibon hood around either. I'm in the NE area and work on base.
