That z06 was probably capable of pacing or passing you in the straights even on your high boost setting (given the weight and gearing differences). I agree the win was all driving.

+1...i told Mike he should have asked to drive one of THEIR cars and show them he could put 9 seconds on them too! In road racing, 9 seconds is an eternity!!!

It also seems like that 06 Z06 dyno was low.
None of the ZO6's dynod over 450.

I did....they said that in that bracket we had to use Street Compound
I had my race compound ready

There is no doubt in my mind that if there were more skilled drivers in those ZO6 it would have been much closer and I would have to TAP on the boost control a little

Sharif....

Those guys wanted to kick my azz They just knew that I cheated. $3000 means nothing to those guys. If I was driving a Porsche or another ZO6...this would not have been an issue. I have beaten the crap out of this club with my porsche before and walked away with their money....nothing was said and they knew the porsche had over 500 rwhp. They just wanted to see what they could do against me and a few friends that have racing license. But this time I am driving a G....so that the problem

I've seen dynopacks that were just way high (VRT), one that was in line with DJ, and most are a bit lower than DJ...

Bro if you were 8sec faster you def need to be in a diffrent class. 8 sec is a long time, know wonder they wanted to kick your ***
By the way my car on low boost is 480 on Sharifs DD and 523 on a DJ same day same temp!

The answer is simple. Don't beat them by that much next time. Keep it close.

On that topic, I guess you can never race that class again - kinda sux. No way to "verify" you are running a certain boost... Also even at 444 on Sharif's you'd be way over 450 on a dynojet, so SOL?

Damn nice win though!

Paranormal......

Thanks man......those kind words mean alot.

Lou.........

Them people were seeing red... They said I will have to run in open class the next time I enter one of their events. They said that they will also register my car with the local SCCA to prevent Sandbaggers like me from entering in the wrong class...I have to look into that , I did not know they could do that....lol
Sharif told me his dyno number would be low compared to others...but this was a shocker.

Raj......

Yup.....I am on there **** list with the G.....lol

I did not even know that I was that far ahead. I was not checking the score board because they kept announcing that I was in first place. my bad...

DD numbers are way lower. And even then, it depends, as some DD operators will add additional corretions to simulate a DD numbers. We don't, however.
