I absolutely rape my car on a daily basis on 6.5lbs on my own tune...its a daily driver and it has 3000miles on the turbo kit..and about 2800 of them are in full boost.

I had a stock engine with APS single turbo for a year. My Z is a daily driver. I drove it pretty hard and saw 11psi daily. I dragged and drifted quite of bit as well. When I took out my stock engine for a build up after a year of boosting, my mechanic noticed advanced wear on stock bearings. Seriously, as others said, it's a gamble...

I drive mine conservatively overall. Some would say very conservatively but part of that is because I live in Cali but regardless of where I am, I'm always careful. Stock block just as you (the OP) asked, about 9 PSI making 400 bhp (TN-kit).

I never do any drag-racing style runs. I pretty-much only mess around every once in a blue moon on the freeway or open surface roads. It's not even my daily driver. I basically pick and chose my battles and also pick and chose when to have spirited drives. I attribute this to having a flawlessly running car, boosted which just passed 80,000 miles.

It's all about controlled aggression.

Kinda the purpose of friends. If a buddy of mine got stranded up in NY and needed to get his or her car back to the DC area, I'd help em out. Its a southern/military thing I guess. I'm sure a tow truck from Upstate New York or North Carolina or Maine is in everyones budget that owns a Z though.....

Dude not to mean this as mean in anyway ........but we have no clue who the hell you are.You have to remember that a lot of us are old school mid-a and have no clue who you are.........so dont try and say we arent part of your crew. You are not part of the real mid-a and never will be as long as the original mid-a crew is around.......but we welcome you to the mid-a.
