Anyways guys, I have the AAM spacer with the 3/8" fitting for oil return on it. I am most likely going to drill my oil block this weekend. Im just getting some of the things together. I should be able to use the same 3/8" fitting with hose end from the current aam setup on the new threaded hole im going to open and then just buy a 3/8" plug to block off the remaining open threaded hole located on the aam. I know I also need an angled drill, a center punch, 3/8" npt tap and some drill bits. Also what is the best way to remove the oil pan since its full of silicone now and once I have all this done how much oil do I put in? Check out the pic i provided as reference. Is this the proper placement of the hole I am going to be opening? any further pics / info will be appreciated.
Why are you going to move it? Are you having problems with the spacer return? I have the AAM spacer with no problems yet. But the way you want to do it, is what the specs call for on the TN kit.
Because sometimes when I come to a stop from driving a get a little bit of smoke of the exhaust. I have been told by some people and my own research that the oil return on the AAM usually brings these problems. Therefore I was thinking of drilling the block, I just wonder if to do it where TN says or a little higher like the picture I posted which is vortech s/c tapping space. What do you guys think?
Well, since your mind is set. I would defiantly do it where the TN specs say. Which would be lower. Just above the pan it's self. Where the smooth surface is, in the center. I know you know or have your own pics. Pretty sure Miaplaya will tell you the same. Good luck with it all.
By the way. How many total miles on the car and boosted miles?

20k miles 10k boosted, thanks guys. I was under the car yesterday and space is eXtemely tight down there with the turbo downpipe in the way. I can probably drill the smooth part if lucky but not the part in the pic i posted unless i take apart alot of crap. another thing is that if it is the smooth surface from what i was seeing is only like 2in if that from where the 3/8npt on the spacer is? will that little bit make a difference?
I wouldn't see why not. You said wastegate mod. You are talking about the open dump, right? Even though on the older kits or older piping I might say. The wastegate is facing up, in which it is connect directly to the discharge pipe. Which routes into the downpipe.
So that being said. I would think you would have turn the wastegate around 180 degree's and cap off the discharge pipe. Then you will have to add or have made little piece of pipe with flange to bolt up to the wastegate. Which gets the exhaust fumes down and away from any vitals. I haven't every seen pics of open dump on the older piping, but that would seem to me the only way it could be done. I'm pretty sure someone else will shine in soon.

You would have to get a solid flange made to that size. Either from Turbonetics or I know Summit Racing sells alot of Turbonetics parts, not sure on that piece exactly. If one is close to you.
