Thats why I have a friend that works for Fedex. Only $18 to overnight the damn thing from AZ to CA . Normally would of cost $68 .

friday the 22nd, I drove it to vortech

 

damn, mine got there 4 days after that. guess ill call them on thursday and see what the progress is.

 

lol, everyone (including me) sent in their blower around the same time... I guess the wait time is going to take at least 2 wks.

Hmmm . . . I have a feeling it isn't taking too long cuz they know what the problem is. We all seem to be having the same issue. So they just have to inspect them to confirm that it is the same problem and then they just fix them and get them out ASAP. I'm crossing my fingers that I get mine back by the end of this week or early next week.

 

i called them today, mine shipped out back to me!! WOOT!

they replaced the housing, turbine blade, and bearings.

Wow . . . just wow. So I just found out that Vortech had the box set aside with my charger in it thinking it was something else. I don't know what they thought it could have been!! So they haven't even inspected my sc yet. They promised to put a rush on it because of their mistake but I am looking at it being at least another week before they can get it back to GTM.

 

Mine should arrive at my doorstep in the next day or two . My unit arrived there originally on 9/21. Sorry to hear about your blower situation Hexx

UPDATE: Nick @ GTM just gave me a call and Vortech should have my SC in the mail hopefully by today. Most of my other goodies are already there and my car should be on the rack very soon (yes I am spending more money again ). We have next weekend as the target date for me to get my G back. All in all I have no complaints. Vortech went out of their way to get my charger back ASAP after the oversite. Props to them for doing that. I can't wait to get my baby back!
