I have the stock 3.12 pulley on my revup vortech and want to change to the 2.87 pulley. Question I have is will I be able to simply remove the belt and take the pulley off or do I need to remove the entire bracket and charger to switch the pulley? From looking at it it seems that I may need to remove it so Im hoping someone here can confirm or deny that? thanks
you need to unbolt the top 3 bolts that mount the supercharger to the mounting plate and undo the charge pipe so you can rotate the blower clockwise. Otherwise the pulley will hit the compressor housing
or you can try is to take off the cog belt, take out the bolts for the pulleys and then back out the 4 allen head bolts that hold the cog side assembly on almost all the way out, then you can slide the pulley off...

You know, I realize that post was probably inappropriate, but when someone can't treat others on a forum with respect when MONEY is involved, I feel like making them feel respected when money isn't involved is not necessary. So rather than call him out in a separate thread, I am going to call him out every time he logs in and posts. This kid clearly knows very little about cars, and even less about how to do business with people.
Yup. You would think something like that would be easy to remedy right? I sent him his money, and he couldn't make good on the deal. I was more than patient, and would have worked it out, however he decided to quit responding to my PMs, which were more than polite and courteous. All he would have had to do was offer to refund a little money or help me find a replacement, and I would have worked with him. **** happens, ignoring people isn't the way to resolve it.
