And becuase how he turbos spool up, I hook up in 3rd on high boost @681 no wheel spin. Ask ALBERTO, he was like "***** you hook up" on street tires. Your not doing that with greddy TT @ 540.

Going to the bar to go hunt for some cougars...

Hahahaha, you guys are funny.
We are all still in the learning stages of these 850BB's and hopefully there is some good progress made to extract some more usable power (under the curve) on these soon, befor we call it quits on the 850BB's and go back to the 700BB's. I hope we can, cus I would love to keep these 850bb's on as long as we can get a broader and more usable powerband for our purposes.

Either way the power delivery with both kits is unbelievable. It is all just a personall preference

Well you and Lou know way more about these turbos than I do. I am sending my car back to FP to do another map. Looking for over 550 rwhp on Sharif's Dyno and over 605rwhp on DJ. I will post chart. I am very happy with the 700BB. If Scott can get low end boost out of the 850BB.....I would go shopping again.....

......I wanted to put some miles on the car before doing another map..plus I am hoping the Cosworth Plenum will arrive soon. I wanted Sharif to tune it with the Cosworth.

I cant get over how smooth the 700BB is. When you drive an after market 500+ setup...you expect the boost or power to come on with a bang..twisting your ride out of control. But with this, and I am not kidding...comes on as smooth as my Porsche (when it was stock)..

How is your ride doing? You did get it back..right?

Mike

I have a freind that has a 2004 996TT and it feel the same as the 700 kit, as far as power delivery.

I don't recall seeing a DD dyno with 500+ w/ the 530bb.

Sadly not yet . The car is doing fine but I decided I wanted a carbon LSD at the last minute and Sharif had to go to a bit of trouble to find a matching ring gear etc but he gave me a deal I couldn't pass up (thanks Sharif!) and then the car was getting hot on the dyno (I was trying to get away with stock radiator; a futile exercise - lesson learned) so upgraded radiator, fans, shroud just went in - back on dyno today I hope - wish me luck.

I was at the track last night and watched a stock 996TT with a 100 shot run a 10.3 @ 135.. Freaking stock.. With street tires.

Whats the spec on your car??

Your 700BB is pushing out a bit more power though than the stock 996, right? What power level is your 996 at? Lucky devil

I want to - badly! I wish I could but I'm swamped with work, on call, and leaving out of town for a conference . So in a word, no.

I'm hoping I'll have it next week though if all goes well.

vqturbotec - I sent you a PM.
