This means nothing to me..The dynochart stops at 6500 rpms, mine continues for another 1000rpms with no signifigant drop off.

your comment was those cams make power all the way to redline. looking at your last graph, power starts to drop off after 6400rpm. not significantly but it doesnt rise. you are right, my chart does stop, because i dont have the valvetrain to support 7500rpms. are you trying to say that these cams are drop in and you will see gains past 6500? or do you need the ferrea valvetrain upgrade to see the results you had?

I have a set of BC Stg2 cams, and had similar increases in power at the higher rev range.

600RW@5690rpm to 564RW@7670rpm.

That's only a 36HP drop over a 2000rpm spread.

Hal, Julian,

Consistently impressive dynosheets...

From the specs alone they don't seem that different (for stage 2) vs. say the JWT S1 cams as noted above. Can you speculate on other factors or attributes of these cams or supporting mods that are allowing these cars to hold power so well past 6500rpms?

thx

Are you getting any slip? I'd try the GTM pully system before cams if your not making power up top with a supercharger.
