JWT 850BB Twin Turbo Wins Redline Time Attack
Congratulations. I was there with my buddy Mike in the E-Shift Supra. I thought we would be more competitive with you guys but we had some issues (bad boost controller only letting us run 10 lbs of boost and brand new unshaved Toyo RA1s). But we still managed a 4th place. I have a Z myself and I was really impressed with the times you guys were running. The car and driver were badass!!! See you guys next year. Anyone else have pics?

Thanks so much guys it make all the hard work and current trouble with the car all worth it. We are going to work out some bugs out of the car and jump onto a new ECU, thats more user and track friendly. We tried to run the car on high boost with c16 but the car was like choking (something was up with the map) so we stuck with mid boost??? There goes $150 in gas. We ran the **** out of the car

No? It would run great but when it would get to around 4or5K it would burble kinda like it was choking. We ran all the gas till it died before we put the c16. It would have been great to compare. Jim is working on some cams just for these turbos, there is one set getting ready to go on the Doulble down car, so if they do good a set will be made for mine witch means new tune. Joe is going to install the meth kit and what ever he feels like doing. Then a new tune for that setup will be needed. Kinda fustrating but oh well. The freaking car did good.
Im dissapointed the turbos failed so quickly, but thats the price you pay when you REALLY push a car. Even then I woulda expected the water/oil cooled to last longer than 1 weekend. Goes to show people what should work better on a road course (over say a Greddy kit) in theory can still have issues properly set-up. Luie-what are you doing about your coolant, changing/flushing it out?

So your CC was hooked up wrong? I re-routed mine after the drive home I had a line collapsing under vacuum causing serious amounts of smoke under decel! Easy fix, but def scared the $hit outta me...

Luie-I'll call you later when I get off work man...
