Default Starting to put the Vortech project together

Well it looks like the project is less than 6 months out, so time to start buying! Can anyone recommend anything I'm missing? Thanks!

Vortech Tuner Kit
UR lightweight crank pulley (to replace the underdrive pulley I have now)
CJM Stage 1 Fuel System
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Deatsch Werks 550cc Injectors
AAM Spec Oil Pan Spacer
Stillen Oil Cooler
Cusco Oil Catch Can
Koyo Radiator
SAMCO hoses
Turbo XS UTEC)
Turbo XS Map Sensor
A/F, Oil Temp, Boost Guages

I currently have a plenum spacer, 2.5" high flow cats and a 2.5" true dual exhaust. The goal is 400hp and I think I can get there with this setup. Any feedback would be great.

make sure you get a 2.87 pulley, GTM idler pulley and you should be able to get 400whp. imho, i would drop the CJM fuel return and use that money for headers or cams.

If you decide to put off the return fuel system [ I wouldnt ] you'll need bigger injectors than the 550's . Ask Jeremy from Performance Factory what size to get . And forget the UR lightwieght crank pulley . Use your stock one or go with a ATI damper or there is one other company I cant think of the name right now . From what Ive read...a SC will send vibrations to the crank pulley and having the belts real tight puts more stress on the crank

I just question the stillen oil cooler. It's kind of a lot $ for what it is, but that's purely cost preference.

Like Boog said just keep the stock crank pulleys. Also do the 3.12 or 2.87 pulley right away.

Why does he need bigger injectors without return fuel? 550cc should be good enough for even the 2.87 pulley.

I will agree on the pulley.... Put the stock pulley back on, do not put a lightweight pulley on w/ FI... the minimal gain from a crank pulley is not worth the risk at all.

thats almost the exact setup I have except I have 60lb injectors and i put down 400rwhp on a dynojet, I would recommend slightly bigger injectors than 550s if you run the 2.87 pulley because duty cycle was in the high 80% area at full boost.

Oh and my tuner kit is for sale

Thanks for the replies. I'll definitely put the stock crank pully back on. And to be honest, my preference is for safe horsepower, not big horsepower. I run the car on road courses 5 or 6 times a year and drive it pretty hard every day, so I'm not so concerned about hitting 400rwhp as I am keeping the motor intact.

And who else makes good oil coolers?

Is there something wrong with 80% duty cycle? That seems fairly safe to me and its only when you are redlining the car.

Some are just piecing them together:
Oil Adapter Sandwich
Some fittings
Hoses
Cooler

Everything can be found at summit and pieced together for less than the Stillen, but the Stillen does make it a little more convinent.

I am running the 2.87 pulley with 550 injectors with no issues and no fuel return.

I stand corrected . I had thought going to 650's was the norm if not doing the RFS

You list looks great. I'm glad that you decided to ditch the UR pulley because it is definitely garbage (Triji can attest to this personally for when he was NA). If you keep the fuel system stock, go with 650's, I run my car this way with no problems. You should also definitely consider doing at least a 3.12 pulley, the stock 3.33 is definitely pretty weak. Otherwise, good luck and have fun!
