Default Sound Performance_not Sound Business

first I'm not a guy that gets pissed easy but this has gone on far too long.

I ordered my AEM EMS from SP racing for my 06 APS TT 350z Chris told me it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Long story short thier honda AEM brain did not even start my car or even hold an idle, under WOT the car was great i just couldn't stop or it dies. The car spent the summer in a garage. Anyway my tuners tried for about a month and $1600 later they still could not fix the problem. They said a cable throttle body would fix the problem and Chris said that he would make it right a try to get something fabed up for me. That was back in May and that was the last time the big boss ever spoke to me, he gave me his cell # but never anwsered or returned my phone calls, in fact they never returned my calles or offered any kind off help after that. So I sent their $hit box back with a promise of a refund. Their unit was made for an 04 I'm sure about the difference and I don't care, I don't care about my loss from tuning a product that would never have of worked for my car, I don't care about the months that care waited.

I JUST WANT MY @UCKEN MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sum up: I put in HKS Fcon with the 2006 harnes and the car drives like stock!!!! THE AEM $HIT BOX has been sent back in late July and I am still wainting for my $ back.

SO SP RACING GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3MONTHS IS MORE THAN LONG ENOUGH

To the OP. One thread per topic please. Not one thread per section on the same topic.

Clem, I understand where you are coming from, the forums are often a last resort.

I do know that the SP guys are very good at what they do and generally take care of customer service above anything else. They definately took care of my buddy Ryan back in the day when he went with their sp74 kit on his supra. Bump for you though. Good luck resolving issues.

Was this paid through credit card? If so, dispute with the credit card company...

Andy, first off let me apologize for you not being credited for your AEM setup, my sales staff should have taken care of this and had assured me it was resolved, apparently not. I'm cutting you a check and having it overnighted to you today on your refund. This is unexceptable on my staff's part so my apologies.

Secondly, I'm sorry the AEM setup did not seem to work with your car, we've had nearly a dozen other cars in which it's worked great on. We spent hours on the phone with your installer/tuner to no avail.

Nonetheless, I will get this check out to you today. I'm sorry for the delay and offer my sincerest apologies.

You are correct, it should not have come to this Andy. I've already dealt with Tim. I also just sent you an email.

Thanks
Chris

Glad it was resolved. SP has always been great to work with over the phone. I am sure it was an oversight, and glad it was resolved.

good to see shops/vendors stepping up with customer service. IT will pay off for them in the long run.
