what are you talking about? of course, you do.

i went to onther shop today, and he told me the piston rings are leaking...

so i got this list of parts he requires, tell me what do u think

arias pistons 9.0
^ get the arias extreme duty pistons vs the standard arias
ARP L19 head stud kit
^good
HKS metal head gaskets
^good
Eagle rods or pauter rods (dunno which one is better?!)
Get the eagle rods. The pauter are not worth nearly twice the money IMHO. if there were only a $100 difference, get the pauter, but the eagles are PLENTY strong
ARP head and main stud kit
You don't need the head studs as that is what you are getting with the L19. You still need the ARP main stud kit

do i need anything else?!
you need an OEM nissan rebuild gasket kit. I would suggest a rev-up oil pump. might as well get new water pump and timing chain while the motor is apart. You will also need new main, rod, and thrust bearings - but these will have to be sized to your rods and crank. Make sure you mag and mic your crank to make sure it is in good condition. I would also spend the money on a set of cams, upgraded springs and shims, and have the machine shop put new valve stem seals in your heads (they come with the gasket kit)

I am sure I left something out, but that is the majority of what I can remember off the top of my head

If you put lower comp. pistons in a S/C motor, you have to change to a 3.12 pulley to get the same performance as a 3.33 pulley. It's not the same as a turbo.

with a built motor and low compression piston why stop at 3.12? might as well turn the boost up and even go with the T-trim.

I find that hard to believe. with stock pistons, you'll have to pull timing and run a fatter A:f ratio than if running low compession pistons.....of curse, I am referring to a pump gas car.
