My butt dyno while stuffed in the trunk area read " HOLY SH*T!!!" then the boost kicked in and my head slammed against the trunk lid.

That looks like it will break your neck when you hit boost.

You keep saying that but I'll believe it when I see the after CT tuning results. I remember reading SaM@GTM saying he had messed with CT on a FI set-up with no real gains to be had given the time to tune. Of course that is only one "opinion" but until we (Z community) see otherwise what else do we have to go by...look forward to updated results, I do think gains can be had but not enough to fill the gap due to lag.

On monday morning I'll overlay a graph we have using a UTEC at 10 psi with the variable cam timing on, vs disabled trust me the midrange difference is huge. (Same car, same engine, same turbo system only with the 35R). We haven't been testing the 37R until recently.

Kit looks sick, I hope somebody with "capable" hands gets it to a track to see what kind of traps it can pull. I can only imagine with a plenum that would make power to 7500rpm's or more would = a longer better powerband!

Thank you alberto, we might be taking the G to the track with some slicks in the near future. Also we might be testing out the cosworth plenum as well

This is all I could conjure up tonight, but this is a run with the 35R w/ UTEC, same built engine w/ cams , injectors etc. (W/ VTC Enabled). Compared to our 37R run with no VTC

Peak TQ is.. over 1000 RPM Sooner, so i'd say that it makes a difference, when the 37R is roughly 500rpm laggier then the 35R

'Berto - once I get the kit, I'll be doing the install with Dave and co. followed up by a tuning session on the DD. Although I'm pretty much set on using a Haltech for tuning, the ProEFI has my interest enough that if I get one with the kit I'd be game to see a few pulls with it at a minimum. We'll see.

Next year is going to be NICE

PM me and we'll chat.
