Next year is going to be NICE

Of course that is only one "opinion" but until we (Z community) see otherwise what else do we have to go by...look forward to updated results, I do think gains can be had but not enough to fill the gap due to lag.
Nice numbers guys! Especially for those turbochargers.

If you are moving more air at a given rpm because of the variable cam, then you will move even more air at that point with boost. Look at the dyno he posted of the Utec run.... that graph is up like 150hp in the midrange, and you can see where the higher boost starts to take over. You can easily draw the conclusion that with the v-cam on....it's going to make a crap load of midrange power as well. Then look at the graph with stock compression and stock cams. There is no lag on this kit! Dropping over 2 points in compression, and putting big cams in is definately going to hurt the spool up in the bottom end. I would run this kit on stock compression and stock or maybe a bit milder cam, with good pistons and rods. That would be a NICE street setup!

Also, take a look at the B series Hondas. Notice the difference in power and torque throughout the powerband with and without vtech enabled.

Ok now I'm gettin so confused. I can't see the graphs clear on my phone but it looks like there is a lot of lag. I would love to have nasty power like this with a ST but if I lined up against a TT and I'd get burnt then that would be a waste of money 2 me. Guess twins are better......

almost all the baller supras run big single turbos and the VQ with a big single outperforms the 2jz ......more displacement....better heads....
