that is most likely what I am going to do for my Z since I will mainly do autocross and i feel that if I hit 375whp that will be satisfactory for my needs so any additional power would only be needed if I drag race the car. I'll just use nitrous then once the built motor goes in.

I think that's a bit too much. With the 2.87 and 28T you will reach max impeller speed at 6000rpm. That kinda defeats the purpose if you have to shift that early. :/ The 30T makes a little bit more sense. Max speed with the 30T is at 6400rpm.

i'm gonna need a smaller gates belt. The current belt is a 560-8MGT-20.

560mm length 8mm pitch and 20mm width.

ok so it looks like the next smaller belt is 18.9 inches (480mm)

480-8MGT-20 27.02 9207-0001 60 18.90 .10
560-8MGT-20 29.37 9207-0005 70 22.05 .15
600-8MGT-20 30.86 9207-0009 75 23.62 .15

i wonder why the non rev-up uses a longer belt (600-8MGT-20) since it has smaller pulleys. now i just need to find a place to buy it.

crap the 480 is going to be way to small. I'm gonna see if those Jason Tiger belts come in a 21" length.
...and they don't. this sucks

wow that was fun... after talking to about 20 different people I actually found where I can buy one online.

I purchased a 5368M20 (21") american metric belt from www.applied.com. Hopefully the belt quality will be ok.
