Average MPG on boosted Z's

Just by looking at the mpg gauge I would usually get about 27mpg @ 70mph avg and a trip to Houston from DFW(about 250mi) would use about 5/8 of a tank. Well I just picked up my car TODAY after a turbo install/tune and it took just over 3/4 of a tank to go back over the same distance, however, according to my mpg gauge I was getting over 41mpg @ 70 mph. WTF?

once you switch to larger injectors you can't go by the gauge. After fill up my gauge says i can go like 600-650 miles. You just have to do the standard miles/gallons calculation to really find out.

With that said, unfortunately the thread became useless...
It will be hard to tell those who caculated from those who went by the gauge.

Based on my calculations, which I do just about every time I fill up, I've gotten no less than 15.5mpg and I get about ~270 miles to a full tank mostly city driving. On a trip to Ft. Lauderdale a few months back I calculated ~23mpg all highway and some city once I got there, it's 300 miles away 
Needless to say this thread makes me feel better with everyone getting about the same I do, except for Brock and his freak GReddy TT's

I drive over 140 miles everyday M - F, more if I go somewhere for lunch. I fill up every 3rd day, around 300 miles and always get 12 - 13 gallons. If I'm real careful and stay out of boost I "Can" get 26 - 28 MPG and the factory computer is dead on, but driving with the boost controller off on the springs I can get 22 - 24 MPG and with boost set at 11 I average 20 - 21 MPG. All that driving MPG is based on 95% highway, driving surface streets it REALLY can get low like 12 to 15, that's with the 410 injectors and FMU the JWT kit comes with.
