Jet, good to see you back on the forums, I am am sure you miss your Z a lot !! ...but hopefully the car will rock with the TT setup and you will decide to keep it after all !!..I am waiting for the release date for the Greddy TT for the HR, so I can start boosting also...but no building motors with me !! My Supra has had the Greddy T78 kit on it now for 6 1/2 yrs, (no issues) on a completely stock motor ( except for HK$ cams)..my plan with the HR will be a bolt on affair, low boost daily driver, expecting 450-475 RWHP...and thats all you need for the streets to take 99% of the go fast boyz out there !!
...I spoke to Gus from Japtrix in WPB recently, and he said if he had to do it all over again, he would have done a bolt on stock motor setup...He puts down 550 RWHP on his mustang dyno with a fully built motor with the HK$ V-PRO..Just so much cheaper and NO DRAMA like what you had to go through !! ..anyway GOOD LUCK, U R in safe hands with SHARIFF !!

Thanks guys. Hughie..... nice to see your still here. I haven't heard from you in a while. We will have to get together soon.
As far as GTM being to blame for the motor issues??? I never said GTM was responsible for it. Your jumping to conclusions and have no facts to support your allegations. I would use GTM again, as well as Forged and PF. They all do a great job. I can't point my finger at any one individual for this situation.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and try not to be d*cks.

...its ovbious this motor wasnt god like, but my point was that its not what the OP intends with this thread and i guess better not to get it OT, if jets puts a thread related to his engine problems...fire away then ..

I do not know all the details on the JETPILOT situation and Sam is away for the holidays, but I will let you know that the engine defects were not related in any way to our work, and it was inspected by a (non-bias) third party.

JET,
whether you keep the Z or buy the new car you've been talking about, I think you need to take the Z with you to the dealer when you test drive this other car.......and then, you can tell the dealer that their car just isn't fast enough!!!

You guys are both really a peice of work. It is really amazing how anxious you guys are waiting for us to make a mistake, which we didn't in this case. We are not perfect, nobody is, and I can gaurantee you that a mistake will be made at some point. All we can do at that point in time is correct it, make it right, and keep going.
As far as JETPILOT's engine, I am fully ready and prepared to lay out all the details for you guys, with undinebale evidence that this was not a failure on GTM's part. I just need JETPILOT's ok to post, and we will let it rip. I can assure you that we won't be the ones looking bad. Then agian, you will probally say we are "bashing" since you can no longer say the engine failed on our part.

Hope your back on the road soon, I am sure you will, your in good hands.
To all you guys waitting for your motor builds, all I can say is I know how hard it is to not have your car. In the end all of you will be very happy with your car, with that said that still doesnt mean something cant go wrong.
Good luck!
