From your 2 choices IMO i would go with Kyle since he has better customer support and way more experience building engines.

Kyle is the man. Engine is perfect! Very down to earth and easy to deal with. Very knowledgeable. Price is right too.

I really don't want to be this guy and thread crap..... but I think you stating the "engine is perfect" is a bit optimistic and premature to state considering your current situation.

I do hope your motor is fine, but I would say the jury is still out.

To the OP, I am a big fan of finding the shop you want to tune the car and see what they can do for you on a complete build. I am not one to suggest buying a motor from party A, especially a mail-order type purchase, having party B install it, and then party C troubleshoot/tune.

Kyle is a great guy to deal with and has helped me out many times through AIM, even on equipment I didn't purchase from him. Very nice guy, and if I'm not mistaken, he uses the same machine shop that SGP does and my SGP long block performed flawlessly (until I went into it myself, lol).

Keith, I know you/your buddy may want to swap the motor yourself, so IPP is a good option. Great prices and Ive never heard anything bad from them. BUT-if your not doing the work, Ziv's advice is right on, and you know where to go

From what I know, He built a motor for Yancy and everything was perfect great customer serivice and support. Plus one bad *** port and polish job, I would go with one of his packages.

Note* Yancy is making 647 whp on sharif's dyno Dyno dynamics

Yea bert you are probably right cause when i put in the turbo,s i didnt want to pull the engine.I will probably just send the engine i got from aceman to dave and let dave handle it.

I might just go ahead and pull the motor in the winter season as the shop is usually much slower and do the install myself and use one of kyle,s motor,s.It seems as he has a good rep with his motor,s here.

Good luck, that is a no joke DIY project, but it will be fun!
