Default Hot water over FI install...

https://my350z.com/forum/mid-atlantic/317787-my-aam-experience-its-a-long-one-must-read.html

Wow... It wasn't me, but thought that some of the lurkers in the FI section should see about some of the tension over at Altered Atmosphere. I'm only posting this because I'd honestly like to hear from people that are running FI setups in their cars that came out of AAM.

How's it running? What kind of power are you making? There's been a lot of heat with that shop in the Mid-A region lately and in an honest and open question to a larger audience - I'm curious to hear from those with stories on both sides of the fence. BUT - please as it only relates to FI'd cars.

TIA

I agree to an extent. The thread wasn't made to bash, but to simply address some of the issues that have been coming up in the Mid-A lately with AAM, and to honestly ask a larger FI audience about their experiences with AAM. I know that in our region, they've had some ups and downs. The question is for everyone who's active on these forums on how their car is doing. If you got your FI install / tune at AAM, how was your experience?

Honestly. Good, bad, or otherwise... We don't get a lot of outside input in our regional forum so I thought I pose the question to the FI crowd. I would hope that the thread serves a greater purpose rather than turn into a **** slinging contest...

everyone here must understand that the FI forum conduct will apply in that thread... some leeway was given since it was posted in Mid-A

Hmmm... my roommate brought up AAM just 2 days ago talkin this and that and I immediately interrupted him to stop him from going any further. Then I told him about all the bad things I've heard about them.

Sure, I'd say go for it if he's just talking about buying stuff from there and having it shipped, but if he ever drives his car there I will sabotage it beforehand so that atleast it's someone he knows sabotaging it

Edit: to appease moderators

Negative ... it was a Nissan Dealership in Clearwater, FL and it happened to a PPW Z with gold volks rims

This is precicely why speculation and people who don't have first hand knowledge are not allowed to make posts in these type of threads.

It becomes a gigantic game of telephone and the next thing you know, AAM is supposedly crashing cars off of lifts.

Thank you for clearing this up dutchboy.
