Otherwise ANYBODY could say that they have spent over $100K when we factor in gas, oil, maintence etc. I can see why track-side support and 3 techs working would cost $. But is still don't see $80K of WORK in that car.

Put it this way. Even if we over estimate the cost of a motor and turbo with tuning (i believe Vinny still doesn not believe in tuning cars so tuning couldn't have been that much) at $25,000, add $5k for the brakes, $2k for seats, $2k for the cage. Even if the customer agreed to $10K in labor (fair for installing a motor and turbo kit i fhis dead lines meant other cars would have to be postponed), wheels, tires ETC we are at $50K (gross over estimate)

So either the GUY agreed to $30K to learn how to drive (bondurat would have been hella cheaper) and transport his car (a used F150 and trailer would have come in less), OR people are overestimating just how much that car has in it.

the car, for the car, the team whats the difference? thats not the point. no one on this forum knows how much he spent on his motor a built motor can cost between 15kstreet and 65kfullrace.
