Can anyone help me?

i what the vortech supercharger kit but it´s not possible for me to go to a especialized shop cause i´m in Portugal ( europe ) not because they do not exist but its justo too mutch $$$$$$$

my doubt is:
if i order my vortech kit through the net (performance nissan, ... etc.etc...) can i put it to work? ( i´m a mecanical but i´m not a performance expert not even have anyone or shop to assist me)
my intention is simply to buy the kit and pot it to work and leave all the programing and tuning to the original vortech kit.
is it possible ??
does the kit came with a piggyback???
do i nead some kind of aid??

If you buy the full kit from Vortech, it will have everything that you need.

^Yup. Avoid the "Tuner" Kits.

The "Full" kit will come with everything you need.

will i have to deliver some kind of information to vortech ? or is it the same for all costumers ...

i´m sorry for my ignorance but in Europe is more like BMW, Mercedes, porche, etc etc, no 350z on the market and... i love my Z ...

i had one bmw 325 , one 330, one 530, 911, great cars the beast for traveling, but... the Z is like ...

I'm not sure how hard to tune the SS box but if I were you and you want to stick with Vortech, then I'll go ask Jeremy@PF to give you a complete kit and Utec with the a good basemap added. Once you have a good base map, tweaking your A/F will be easy on Utec if you have a Wideband. If you don't want to touch anything then Stillen will probably a better choice. Stock Vortech is weak so if you are not going with a smaller pulley and re-tune then stick with a stage 2-3 Stillen.

Call any of the Vendors and see what they can cook up for you.

+1

Contact the vendors and tuners here and see if you can't get the kit with one of their basemaps. It won't be perfect but it'll be alot better than what Vortech will send you imo.

You will need to tune the SS for best results of course. It is pain to tune too.

Well they will say their SS does come pre-tuned... trust me, just go call one of the vendor (PF has done lots of Vortech) and ask them if they can provide you with a Map since you are out of the country. The other poster said it is somewhat pain to tune the SS so I suggest to get a tuner kit + Utec from one if the Vendor and ask for a good base map. If you know how to use a Laptop then you can get info to do minor A/F adjustment for Utec. Utec will also give you a lot more safety features than the SS Box that come with Vortech.

Edit:
With all the Vortech problem going on right now, I suggest just going with Stillen since you are going to have to ship it back to Vortech for warranty. Since you don't like to pay for tuning then Stillen is a true Plug-N-Play kit.

Yeah, you may want to wait a little bit to make sure that the Vortechs problems are fixed.

vortech has identified the issue as a bearing manufacturer problem that they've fixed

Just be careful about buying a kit that's been sitting on a shelf that was made when the bearing problems were happening

https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/318444-official-vortech-statement-look-in-here.html

even still, if you get one of the defective kits you'll end up with a 5 year unlimited mileage warrenty with it which is by far the best warrenty of any FI kit and vortech will replace the bad bearings for free
