Rode in the Procharger Z/ dyno results
I was dynoing my car with the new functioning nitrous setup and ran across the Procharger Z. It dyno'd probably 5 times, putting down ~380 rwhp, 325 rwtq. It was running 8psi. Car has STOCK exhaust, injectors, mostly everything except an added in-line fuel pump. Car was also not tuned and running off the scale on rich.
Also got a quick ride in it. Felt very strong, from 4500rpms on up. They do have some tuning issues to work out, but for a car that's mostly stock to put down 380 ON THE STOCK EXHAUST SYTEM, I'd say that's pretty damn good.
The car ran a 13.2 @ 109mph at the track on 5 psi on street tires and pump gas, so once they get the tuning issues worked out, I'd be we see mid-12's at 114'ish mph.
Any other questions? I probably left out details.

Trust me, when McDan says he rode in it, he rode in it.
Were both from KC area, its not suprising that if he got his car dyno'ed that the ProCharger Z was there. I would imagine they frequent the Dyno now that they are in the later stages of tuning.

Well, it is still 6 grand, and as long as that is the case, I will wait.......patiently.
Sounds good though, lot of freakin' power, about 450 at the crank. Can't imagine what it would do with some boltons on it. Looks like we will have some real powerful Zs in the future, but in my case, I want reliable HP.

Also, there are only two cars I know of with the prototype Procharger kits on them. One is this car I saw, the other is a similar setup by JIC. The dyno was at MC Racing. I would have asked for dyno plots, but the curves need some tuning at around 4000rpms where fuel control was very squirly.

I also live in the KC area... and have had the honor of taking pics of the ProCharger 350Z for the owner.
Here is a few shots I took after we left the Dyno.

BTW the "HouseofBoost" hasn't been updated in a long while. So I hope they will be getting that back up soon.
Hope you like the pics, of the car.

The polished rims look amazing and classy in those pics IMHO, no tacky bling bling effect that chrome rims would have. Too bad you cant count on I-forged to deliver all the time. Just recently one of the guys at e46fanatics.com made a major stink after not getting his wheels after 17 weeks, if im not mistaken. A pity since they are good looking rims and you can have forged wheels built to you specs and without the bolts like other forged wheel companies.
