Turbonetics sells a downpipe with a catalytic converter already installed. The part number you're looking for is: 21201

Contact your local Turbonetics dealer or one of the dealers on this board and they can order it for you immediately.

That way you can swap it out whenever you need to get tested....

Damn.... sounds like some states are getting a little to smart! Do you know if all locations in your area are doing that or was it that one particular person. Sometimes you get a douchebag inspector!!

If you have a Z, it seems like everybody wants to get a piece of you! this happens to me all the time!!! lucky enough i got a place in vegas that can hook me up for a bill how about getting a high flow cat and get em wielded? I bought a hi-flow cat and the actual cats are half the size of the OEM ones, it might fit... good luck bro, let us know any updates...

Damn you guys brought the dead thread back to life.

My story went like this. I searched and found some guy giving out 2 cats and a y pipe for free so i jumped on the deal. Took off the cross over TN exhaust pipes and put on the stock cats and Y pipe and went through. Right after emissions, i came home and put the turbo pipes back on. *** the LAW!!!!! lol
