I do have a question. I'm not really happy with the mounting of the filter. Just not real tight. I know it will rattle. Problem is there's not much room up on the rail. I had to bend the one side of bracket straight as seen in pic. In return I couldn't use the back piece of the mount.
Any suggestions on mounting this thing better? Anywhere I can get a better mount that is better quality. Slimmer in mounting ?

Off the top of my head I cannot recall the positions or colors. But the factory fuel pump wires are a heavier gauge than the 3 sensor wires, so it makes it simple to identify them. Use a multi-meter to confirm.

Thanks phunk. I had it right the first time but then swapped...

Black(thick)- ground 255
Black/yellow(thick)- power for 255
Yellow- sending unit white
Black/red- sending unit black
Purple - not used

I had the black and blk/yellow mixed and gauge was working , swapped back, 255 now working and guage isn't now..lovely.
