Default it would be awesome if someone could help me out here...

i have an 03 touring 6 speed. right now all i have is test pipes and pop-charger. i've wanted to go FI since i bought the car and i'm not sure what to do. I wanna spend about 8 grand right now total. basically i wanna get the most reliable HP/tq out of the car for 8 grand (obviously). the guy at my local speed shop is sayin Procharger but the thing is this guy has never worked on a Z before so i was just wondering what you guys think about it. i know that you guys dont usually like these kind of posts but any advice you can give is greatly appreciated.

Too bad you're not in FL... I believe Jeremy has a Vortech Package for around $7k that includes the install and tune.

I probably wouldn't do the procharger unless you really are sure that's what you want

You might look into a single turbo if you're looking for the most hp/tq for the least amount of money

Go with the Turbonetics or the Powerlab single turbo. Vinnie 10 Racing is in or around NYC and they are recommended by Ed at Turbonetics. Give them a call.

To the op, love the user name. MRC, VTR, CIN, Forged Performance, Performance Factory, Japtrix, etc, etc.... I swear you east coast guys got a monopoly on Z33 tuning.

I would go Turbo over S/C. If you are trying to keep the cost down, then I would go single over twins (You would save on installation). If your going single I would go Powerlab over Turbonetics. Also, I agree with Doug.... find a shop that knows what there doing and has experience with the Z.

Nice one Taurran!

I would recommend greddy with UTEC @ 7-8 psi ~9-10k though. Otherwise, go with powerlab. Eventually you are going to want more power and both of these kits seem to have more power potential than the other kits in this price range IMHO.
