I have spare hardpipes welded but I was too tired to take off the coolant pipes and I want the Pathfinder rear pipe anyway. I got coolant caps from OReilley. It's actually one rubber cap that fits and then I put a second rubber cap over that which is much thicker. I WOULD NOT use them on a FI car.
those hose plugs are a bad idea! they will get brittle, leak, and eventually break on you. I tried them a long time ago. Just plan on changing them out every few months.
I am looking for a oem oil cooler/warmer piece. If anyone has one that is in good shape w/out leaks or cracks and is willing to sell at a good price, please pm me. Thanks.

someone will probably give you one for free......just pay for the shipping. I don't think I have any laying around. I'll look though. I usually have just thrown them out. I used to have 3 of them.

I have one. Got to go get it from my storage facility.
Great shape. You just need a rubber gasket and your good to go. Figure $50 shipped and its yours. They may be worthless to some, but to guarantee a clean and working piece cost me something like $325 from the dealership.
Why am I the only one confused that he (Jonnylaw) is trying to buy one if they're nothing but prone to causing problems and take up space in our engine?

B/c I am thinking about taking off my S/C setup, possibly converting my car back to stock and part out (HKS SC, Endless BBK, ARC radiator, ARC oil pan, Cosworth plenum, Amuse exhaust, etc.), and sell the car stock (I don't think I'll get the price I want if sell the car as is modified).
When I installed oil pressure and temp. sensors for CAMP2 display, a sandwich plate adapter was used and modified to fit. I am unsure if my oem oil cooler/warmer was taken off or left on with the adapter. My tech believes it stayed on, but I have one of the hoses that attach to it, but I do not have the cooler/warmer unless it is on the car.
I need to check when the car is on the rack to replace an exhaust gasket early next week. So if it is not on the car, I would need one in getting the car back to stock if I go that route...
I haven't noticed a bit of difference in my coolant temps and I performed the same elimination of items. car wamrs up quickly and my coolant temps are always rock solid...never varies.
I tried changing the rear coolant pipe (the one that connects to both heads) and it was too difficult with the motor in the car. I got all the bolts off and was about to swap it, but was concerned that I might not be able to get the pipe out of there. I'll sap that pipe when my motor is out of the car. The other pipes aren't bad. the driver's side pipe is annoying with all the greddy stuff in the way though.
I know what your saying! lol....
I plan on working on my clutch again.........gonna install an aftermarket flywheel and while im there i plan on doing the pathfinder coolant log install.......
So much access to the rear coolant log with the tranny out..
