Why does it have to be immediately inferred as competition?
Can't there simply be a "congrats!"... ahha..

On a side note, I think it's funny that doug put "Pot" and "Smoking" in the same sentence. Muahahah..

The OT in this thread is refreshing, like pulling a hard drag from a cig after a good _____ .

What does it benefit, or gain an individual to post even the slightest retort? You're simply adding kerosene to an already monstrous inferno. If it clucks and has feathers, it's probably a chicken.

To the facts in this thread:

1. Several members have posted stating that they received the same exact email from this company.

2. None of said members have ever done business with this company.

3. One way or another said members have had contact, or business with VRT in the past.

4. istan (post #24) has shown that Kristene L Knop had involvement in VRT, and the email sender was kristene71@***.net... Can you say that this is no longer a coincidence???

5. Both companies are/were located in San Diego.

How did this company obtain these members' email addresses? For giggles, let's say that they bought them from VRT. Why? Giving them the benefit of the doubt, let's say that they had their heads soo far up their assses that they weren't aware of VRT's demise. This still doesn't explain the 2 Kristene's in each company. That's not a common spelling of Kristene. Math is your friend...

+1 Darren!

When are some people going to pull their heads out of their asses?!?!?!?
It's so frustrating that VRT has spinoffs such as RA and now Super Shops still active in the auto biz!!!

VRT, Mr. A$$, Scott Bush/ShamrockG/(FrickU)?, RA, Kristene, Super Shops, and anyone who chooses to associate with or defend them.

+1 He told me same thing.

I actually got a set from them and took them off. They are crappy...tried to adjust them from soft/hard. Didn't do a thing.

Whoever they are, important thing is they're selling crappy parts!

Is this the same company that ran those commericals on TV and Radio, with the deep obnoxious announing voice "SUPERSHOPS........becuase everyone deserves performance.....!!!!!!!!!!!!1
or something like that???

That must have been at least 10-15 years ago.

probably. 15 years ago is when i was there. they closed down just a couple years later. they started getting stomped by summit i am assuming and had to close up. i do remember when that was about the only 2 places to get parts though. hell, now, i don't even want to add up my paypal reciepts for car parts, from online shopping, lol!! no more mail order.
read more books on automotive theories before i was 14-15 than most people in the industry will ever read in their lives. worked at a true race car parts shop after that. race central.

P.S. Not to mention that this has absolutely nothing to do with this thread.
